I think I'm one of the few who couldn't care less about walking around in stations or on planets. To me there are much more cooler things to have or add to the game than those. But that's just me.

I've found from experience that all NPC's (at least all that I've seen) will give up chasing you if you get far enough away from their spawn points.

I was thinking it would be really cool to have NPC/Faction attacks on corp/alliance assets. 0.0 has gate camps and roid field spawns but it seems to me that if you're hanging out in say Angel Cartel territory they would get pretty ****ed off after...

There's no nerf here. You just don't want to take the time to collect loot. Bounties, mission rewards, and bonuses are what you get for mission running. Loot is an extra cookie. You take the time, you get the cookies.
